Printmaking for Elementary Classrooms
Friday November 1, 2024 12:15pm - 3:45pm MDT
I’m excited to invite you to this year’s Professional Development Day! With several years of experience teaching art in Fort McMurray, I’ve had the opportunity to work as a Primary Teacher, Early Childhood Educator, Learning Assistance Coordinator, and a dedicated part-time Art Teacher for grades K-6. Along the way, I’ve gathered a wealth of tips and tricks that have been invaluable in nurturing young artists.

This year, I’ll be offering a two-hour session focused on Printmaking for Elementary Classrooms. I look forward to sharing my insights and exploring this creative process together!

The Undying Fire: The Mission of Engaging Youth Today (Catholic Education)
Friday November 1, 2024 12:45pm - 1:45pm MDT
Young people are the future of our Church and more than ever it is crucial that we find ways to engage, inspire, mentor, and teach in the faith. With the Holy Spirit as our guide and through the lens of a storyteller we will explore the honour and mission of connecting with youth in meaningful ways. At the centre of this endeavour is always Christ and a goal of a real and meaningful relationship with him. In a celebration of what has been done, what is happening now, and a push towards a faith filled future for our youth we will seek to light the undying fire of God's love.
