6.2.1.3 An inclusive school has an approach to professional development that 1. encourages teachers to engage in reflective practice and research; 2. helps teachers be responsive to the diversity of students in their classrooms; 3. emphasizes how social class and power relationships can breed sexism, racism and other forms of marginalization; and 4. includes opportunities for teachers to work collaboratively with other teachers and professionals.
