About me
Mark Pacheco is an Assistant Professor in the College of Education at the University of Florida. His work focuses on ways in which teachers can nourish the character of diverse learners in diverse classroom contexts. Along with this, he has examined how character can be developed within school leadership, in science museums, and with pre-service teachers.
His research has been published in leading education journals, including Reading Research Quarterly, Science Education, Urban Education, and TESOL Quarterly. Prior to his work in academia, Dr. Pacheco taught high school English and ESL in New York City.
